Fireplaces are often the focal point of a room.  But red brick is SO 20th century!  The possibilities are endless when refacing a fireplace wall.

Fireplace First Redesign.  Creating a stacked stone effect with end-cut pine boards was like piecing together a puzzle.

Fireplace Finale.  Creative use of unconventional material.  Fireplace wall covered with inverted, commercial kitchen floor tile.  In lieu of groute, the wall behind the tile was painted black.  Two inch, black porcelain tile anchors the fireplace and provides for extra seating when entertaining.  Flame-like plants, in crisp white pots flank the fireplace.  Art glass bowls, randomly placed, provide a splash of color.
